Rules for Using the PVD Homeschool Minecraft Server

In order to maintain a safe and constructive place for our children to play and enjoy each other's company some rules have been defined. They are as follows.

Rules Governing use of the PVD Homeschool Minecraft Server

Do Not Swear or Use Foul Language

Do not use foul language or curse words. There are plenty of words in the english dictionary that you can choose from. Find another way to express yourself if you feel the need to use any of the forbidden words.

There is a plugin that should detect and kick you if you are found to be swearing more than 3 times.

Do Not Destroy Anything You Did Not Build Without Permission from the Person Who Did

Do not destroy or alter any structure or non-naturally occuring land formation that you did not build. The only exception is when you have the permission to do so from the person who did build it.

Do Not Steal Items From Other Players' Structures

Do not remove any items from within other players' structures. Including Homes, Buildings, Obstacle Courses, etc. This includes items within chests, on walls, floors, etc and any pets or animals that may be within the structure.

Exceptions to this rule are when you are expressly told you may do so by the player who build the structure.

Do Not Kill any Domesticated Animals

Do not kill animals that are leashed, penned, or contained within another player's structure.

Do Not Kill Villagers

Villagers are "people" too, and should not be purposefully killed.

Do Not Build Offensive Structures

Structures that may be offensive to other players is forbidden. Such structures include sacraficial altars and structures that resemble something or language that may be considered offensive.

Consequences For Breaking the Rules

If you are found to have violated the rules you may be given a warning on the first and possibly the second occasions. In some cases you may not be given a third chance and will be banned from the server upon your second infraction. (depending on severity) All others will be permanently banned from the server upon their third infraction.
