Lyrics Shows and Tour dates The leucosia Message Board

Leucosia was formed from the ashes of Artificial Reality on Sunday August 22nd 2004 at the Hanover Diner. Cudos Hanover Diner for being, The Hanover Diner. One of the rare occasions that Scott was actually in Hanover, he decided to go to "the diner." While there, we told him of all that our band had been going through and about needing a new singer and whatnot. Steve suggested that Scott come to his house to do some vocal recordings. Scott layed down some tracks and we decided to keep him. Turns out we were just the thing he was looking for. And he on the other hand, was just what we were looking for. The band's sound changed dramatically after recruiting Scott. We then decided to call ourselves Leucosia, which is an evil singing nymph from Greek Mythology.
Leucosia has since then acquired the vocal stylings of Shai Ivgy. Soon after Shai joined, Scott decided to leave on good terms. Everyone saw it coming, Scott's favored style is not our own. Since then Leucosia has put out a promo album entitled Sick and Bleeding. Sick and bleeding was thrown together in about two hours in Steve's basement with outdated equipment (windows 98, an old midi breakout box, and some crappy behringer mics).
Then after some long thought and weighing of priorities, Steve left the band. Which brings Leucosia to today. This also means that they need a new bass player.

Ancient history...
Artificial Reality was formed February 2nd, 2001, superbowl Sunday, at Kory's house. The band was originally 3 guitarists, 1 bassist, and a drummer, but no singer. It was hot in Kory's attic so we took the practice outside. Of course we got stopped by the cops. After the first practice the band format dropped to a 3 piece. We played 3 shows under the name No Relief until our bassist at the time left on good terms leaving Kory and Tristan. That fall we picked up Mark on git/vocals and Zach on bass. Soon afterwards we took the name Artificial Reality.Shortly after Zach joined the band he left to persue other interests. We then found Cody to fill in the role of bass. Shortly thereafter, Cody left the band... to pursue other interests. In September (I think) of 2003, Steve a friend of ours later offered to pick up the torch(bass) for us, and thats how its been since. Though in August of 2004 we lost Mark to college and some miscomunications.
