Before your child will be able to connect to the PVD Homeschool Minecraft Server you must first be white-listed by the administrator(s). This is a security policy to prevent random strangers from entering the system. This policy is in place to protect all the players so they can enjoy the game and each other's company.
In order to request that your child's account be white-listed you must first determine what your child's Mojang 'Profile' name is. This is the username that was selected when you paid for Minecraft.
Note: Before you continue please ensure you have read and your child understand the rules governing use of the server.
First, go to https://account.mojang.com/ and log in. When you are logged in, you should see a page similar to the one shown in Figure 1-1. Take note of the name shown below the "Profile Name" heading in the list of "My Games" in the Minecraft row. You'll need this name for requesting white-listing.
Once you have determined the profile name that will be used by your child to connect to the server you may request white-listing. A table is included below to help you create the email that must be sent in order to have your child's profile white-listed on the server.
